We have been attending the Arlington Market since it began in 1980. Our farm has evolved over these many years, with a few new faces, changing crop mixes, and different parking spots. But, we have remained true to our goals of providing delicious nutritious food to you, our best customers. The produce going to Arlington is grown at our “country” farm out in Loudoun County. Ellen Polishuk manages that location. We grow bedding plants and bring bagged compost in the spring, and then every vegetable but sweet corn come summer. We also provide a wide assortment of fresh cut culinary herbs and flowers. We grow all of our crops using organic methods, though we are not certified organic. Since 2003, we have employed the word ECOGANIC to describe our methods. We use no chemical fertilizers, pesticides or fungicides to grow your food. We make and use compost, grow cover crops and green manures, and add rock powders for fertility. We use natural methods of pest and weed control, relying mostly on preventative maintenance!

We attend many area farmers markets, and have two roadside stands – one in Vienna (the original PVF) and one in Purcellville. We hope to continue to serve you for another great season.
